The Search For Lily and Jack Sullivan Continues

USPA NEWS - Around 10AM Friday, May 2nd, 2025, 6 year-old Lily and 4 year-old Jack Sullivan were reported missing to Police by their mother who alleged the siblings walk off their rural property in the Lansdowne Station area of Nova Scotia. A week has now passed, and the children have still not been found. Please share out this information so they can be brought home.

Police are asking anyone with information on Lily or Jack’s whereabouts to call Pictou County District RCMP at 902-485-4333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
Over 160 searchers, aided by drones and canine units, have tirelessly combed the thick forests of Pictou County. Despite these extensive efforts, the only potential clue,a small footprint which has not been confirmed to belong to either child, and no other trace of them has been found. This isn’t for lack of commitment. Still, the large-scale search has now been scaled back. The focus has shifted to a more targeted effort, driven by the ongoing investigation and any tips that come in from the public.
Lily is described as having shoulder-length light brown hair with bangs. She could be wearing a pink sweater, pink pants and pink boots. Jack is described as having short blondish hair. Police said he is wearing blue dinosaur boots.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM RCMP PRESS CONFERENCE, May 7th 1400. This search has included many agencies, including volunteer ground search and rescue teams from all surrounding areas and New Brunswick, the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association, the Nova Scotia Guard, the Salvation Army, the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, Department of Natural Resources Air Services, Nova Scotia Public Safety and Field Communications, Canada Heavy Urban Search and Rescue Task Force 5, and several RCMP units, including Police Dog Services, drone operators, and our Major Crime Unit." Staff Sergeant Curtis MacKinnon, District Commander for Pictou County District RCMP said, “It has been an all-hands-on-deck effort, using every available resource and tool. We’re transitioning from a full-scale search to searches in smaller, more specific areas; we’ll be retracing our steps to ensure all clues have been found.”
1400 MAY 7TH, 2025 "Since the search began on May 2, it has been concentrated in the Gairloch Rd. area and has covered four square kilometres of heavily wooded, rural terrain. Up to 160 trained volunteer searchers, along with many others, have been involved in the search each day. Tens of thousands of search hours have been dedicated to scouring the area, and GSAR has confirmed that over 100 tracks have been laid using GPS and grid searches. Efforts to locate Lily and Jack have also included two vulnerable missing persons alerts. One was issued in Pictou County on May 2. And on May 3, a broadcast intrusive alert was issued to Antigonish, Colchester, and Pictou counties."
Staff Sergeant MacKinnon concluded by saying, “I want to assure Nova Scotians that our missing persons investigation continues. Our focus remains on finding Lily and Jack. Our best investigators are working every aspect of this file, and our work won’t stop until we know where Lily and Jack are and can bring them home."
